I wanted to launch Season 2 (and the new website) with one of my favorite bands, The Birthday Massacre. I first saw them years ago at Crash Mansion with Suicide City opening. They are a perfect blend of 80's synth-pop/goth with a modern hard rock edge and have a new live album (accompanying DVD coming soon). We caught up with them on Chibi's birthday at their signing at NYC's Vampire Freak's store and their show at the Highline Ballroom.
